Spaces To Hire

Main Hall

The main hall is our largest space to hire. It is approximately 17.5 meters in length by 10 meters wide with a sports flooring. It has a standing capacity of 360 people and a fully seated capacity of 80

Small Hall / Squash Court

Our small hall is also our squash court. It is approximately 10 meters in length by 6.5 meters wide. It has a standing capacity of 120 and a seating capacity of 60 & can be hired for a range of activities.

Kitchen / Arts and Craft

Our kitchen and arts & craft area is approximately 22 foot long by 12 foot wide. The floor is a lino material which is easily wipeable. There are two sinks, lots of work surfaces and table space.

Committee / Meeting Room

Approximately 22ft by 16 ft. It has a standing capacity of 60 people and a seated capacity of 30. There are several tables and chairs available to arrange and use as you see fit.

Pool Room

A social room where you can play a game of pool with your friends. The table is coin operated so you will need some pound coins to play. Please keep food and drink away from the table.

The community centre is run by a group of volunteers who all have the same goals to improve the facility and provide the best possible experience for our users.

The centre has undergone huge improvements over the past few years and we have big plans going forward. Unfortunately all of which cost money. We are fortunate to have several local businesses who are always keep to support us and we would be grateful if you could check them out and show them some support.

Pickleball

Pickleball the fastest growing sport across the UK. Find out why that is and how you can get involved. We offer free beginners coaching classes and fun competitive, singles and doubles leagues.

Badminton

Badminton is a fast-paced, elegant racquet sport played on a rectangular court divided by a net. Players use lightweight racquets to rally the shuttlecock back and forth, aiming to outmaneuver their opponents.

Roller Skating

Roller skating is a dynamic and exhilarating sport that combines balance, agility, and rhythm. It offers a unique blend of grace and adrenaline, making it a favourite for thrill-seekers and performers alike.

Gym (Coming Soon)

Whether you’re lifting iron, grinding through a HIIT circuit, or finding your breath in a quiet stretch, every rep and drop of sweat is earnt. We’re fundraising to raise funds to build this facility. Check out our fundraiser.

Basketball

Basketball is a fast-paced, high-energy sport usually played between two teams of five players each, where the goal is to score points by shooting a ball through a raised hoop. The game demands agility, teamwork, and precision.

Birthday Parties

This venue is the perfect setting for hosting birthday parties and special events, offering an affordable yet spacious and stylish environment that caters to guests of all ages.

Office Work / Meetings

The centre has several spaces which can be used for meetings or office space to work from. We provide free Wifi to all our hall users and have facilities to make tea and coffee.

Pool

Precision, strategy, and control are key, as each shot demands a careful balance of aim and finesse. Pool combines skill and subtle geometry, creating a game that’s both competitive and elegantly tactical.

There are several regular clubs and classes which run at the community centre each week, maybe there’s one that suits you. Check out what’s on!

Sennen Farmers Market

The Community Centre hold a weekly farmers market every Tuesday from 9.30am – 12.30pm.

The farmers market has a vast array of stalls each selling local produce. You can expect to find various food stalls, including cakes, pies, fresh fish, fresh meat, pastries, fruit and veg amongst others. We also have several plant stalls, jewellery stalls, photography and craft stalls to name a few.

It’s a real friendly atmosphere and a great place to find that unique gift thats not on the high-street.

There is also a 2nd hand book swap where you can pick up books, jigsaws and dads for just a few pennies with all proceeds going to St Julias Hospice.

There also a little cafe which provides the perfect partner to your delicious treats, each week a different charity runs the coffee morning to raise funds for their charity.

Clubs and Classes

Sennen Pickleball Club

Free training for newbies from 5-6pm, Free training for intermediate 6-6.30pm Open play 6.30-7.30pm every Wednesday. Please note there is a waiting list so please don’t turn up without getting in touch first.

Sennen Karate Club

Running weekly karate lessons for all ages. 5-6pm Nano Ninjas Beginners, 6-7pm Cobra Crew Intermediate Class, 7-8pm Samurai Squad Advanced Class. All classes cost just £5 to attend

Mounts bAY tABLE tENNIS cLUB

Now running regular classes twice a week all year round, with players of all ages from 10 to 85. We are a member of table tennis England, fully insured because of that we can welcome anyone from any club in the country.

HIIT Circuits With Lizzie

Come and get a sweat on in our NEW HIIT Workout class run by Lizzie Savage. Lizzie has a background in callisthenics, her classes are fun, functional and can be tailored to your specific needs.

Sew and Craft Club

We are an informal craft club that meet every week and we bring our own craft to work on. This is a great opportunity to work on your own craft piece in a relaxed socialble environment with like minded individuals.

Sennen Indoor Bowls Club

One of the attractions of indoor bowling is that it can be played by all ages, including men, women, juniors and seniors. People of all abilities can play, including wheelchair users and blind bowlers.

Keep Fit Class

A well attended general fitness class tailored to, but not limited to the older generation, promoting fitness for living. This class aims to improve strength, flexibility, cardio health and balance.

SK8PZ Roller Skating

Join Laura & Steve at Sennen Community Centre on Saturday mornings for an open skate session to some great tunes. All ages, all abilities. £5 for 2 hours. Skate hire available for additional cost.
