Clubs and Classes

The community centre is home to several well established clubs and weekly classes, with new clubs starting all the time. All the clubs and classes are welcoming to new members. Details of these clubs and classes can be found below.

Sennen Karate Club

At Sennen Karate Club our goal is to provide fun, professional and affordable karate classes for all the family. All our classes are open to male and female students, we’re a friendly non-intimidating group who welcome new students aged 5+.

Mounts Bay Table Tennis Club

Now running regular classes twice a week all year round, currently with have players of all ages from 10 to 85. We are a member of table tennis England, fully insured because of that we can welcome anyone from any club in the country. We offer advice on playing no matter what age or ability.

SK8PZ Roller Skating Club

We are SK8PZ – a community interest company based in Penzance, serving the local community for just under a year. Our roller-skating group formed in 2022, Roller skating as an activity is great for mental, social and physical health and wellbeing as it has very positive effects on the brain and body.

Sennen Indoor Bowls Club

One of the attractions of indoor bowling is that it can be played by all ages, including men, women, juniors and seniors. People of all abilities can play, including wheelchair users and blind bowlers.

Keep Fit Class

A general fitness class tailored to but not limited to the older generation, promoting fitness for living. This class aims to improve strength, flexibility, cardio health and balance. If you are interested in joining in we welcome new members.

Craft Club

We are an informal craft club  that meet in the kitchen on Monday 2pm -3-30pm. We bring our own craft ie knitting,crochet and sewing to work on. This is a great opportunity to work on your own craft piece in a relaxed socialble environment with like minded individuals.
